The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 自由的代价是什么？Everything ! 三名南非战士行动失败被困银行，在明知没有退路之后提出释放曼德拉作为交换人质的条件，通过人质的众生相可以感受到那个时候南非种族隔离的严重性，黑人地位的低下，三位战士的牺牲最终促成了释放曼德拉运动。

没想到是奈飞出品，没想到是真实事件改变的电影！更没想到是和黑人领袖曼德拉有关的电影！几个黑人为了让曼德拉获得自由，让更多黑人获得自由铤而走险的故事！我竟然看完了，1小时41分的电影，最后40分钟开始有点高潮了，最后10分钟有点感人！一句话总结这部电影：为了自由代价是巨大的！
大大方方地接受没什么大不了的，爱情不分年龄性别，两个人相爱便足矣。
中规中矩不磨叽，自带字幕省事了。“木乃伊”警长老了，也发福了

故事挺套路化的，顺带了解了一下真实事件，过于“正确”，原创部分较多。
“自由的代价是什么”，对不起，我笑了，这句台词是突然从哪条缝里面蹦出来的，尴不尴尬啊，明明从头到尾拍的是黑人反白人的殖民统治和种族压迫，怎么一下子就变成为“自由”而战了？这片不会是给“颜色革命”拍的吧？反压迫反歧视怎么就和“自由”挂上钩了，这么莫名其妙的逻辑居然还有不少人附和。很多人给高分可能是因为讲的是“种族歧视”，但该片片尾把“种族歧视”问题转变成了为“自由”为战，变味了好吗。
没有大牌明星与导演，豆瓣介绍里连导演的信息都没有，但不妨碍本片的紧张与思索

追求自由的故事总是让人向往、感动。Captain, what's the price of freedom? I don't know. Everything.
很好看也走心的类型片，完成度蛮高的，视听上一点不马虎，虽然剧本明显有一个套路，但拍的确实牵动人心，主要是节奏掌控很不错。这个剧本底子总想起《热天午后》，最后结尾想起《虎豹小霸王》。
剧播的时候就很喜欢这个故事，所以电影也一直很期待。
