The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 很好的故事设计，既延续了传奇（或重新演绎了传奇），又隐喻了现实，一举两得。决战场面的设计很精彩，结尾的反转也恰到好处。近年来难得好看的西部片。
西部时代，或许美国建国靠的就是这股子狂野西部拓荒精神，一个个老亨利最终倒下换来了小亨利的崛起，但比利小子传奇永存。
好精彩的故事，虽然低成本，但是真的很好了。这可能就是老亨利最好的结局——至少死后有人收尸。不过他儿子终究还是杀了人，不过那又是另一个故事了。
片子足够完整，但是都普普通通，而且极其老套。感觉就像是看了部几十年之前的美国西部片的重映版。

表演有力 剧本离谱 在老亨利身上能看到所有西部片主角的元素 反派也是老戏骨 但是就像一锅无聊的大杂烩 故事情节上还是太弱了

人物塑造相当成功，瘦削干瘪，一个眼角耷拉着。
种地打鸟憨农民，暗格藏架撑，高草丛潜行，猪圈夜宵加餐，传奇双枪反围剿林中对杀，悍匪易屠，冷枪难防，小子终会变老头……故事够老派
编剧很取巧，运用了比利小子英雄迟暮解甲归田谢幕之战这样的噱头看点，摄影技巧说得过去，前半段剧情进展过于缓慢，不过胜在结尾高潮部分枪战写实精彩
成本应该不高吧，在一户破落村舍完成叙事，简练而深远
