The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? With a keen eye and fresh take, Aselton’s directorial debut shines with crisp storytelling and fine-tuned performances. 3.5/5 密闭空间话剧电影，叙事和多重反转完全依靠台词，有点太话剧而削弱了悬疑的紧张感。如果剧本能再打磨，精简一下台词的话会更符合电影的节奏。MR的演技撑起了整部片。
从《小偷家族》到《花束》再到《浅草小子》，一贯的对细腻情感的刻画
很喜欢这种小场景下发生的故事，对剧本逻辑和冲突的要求很高。每个设下的细节都回收了，就是装尸体的柜子没有以很惊喜的场景被揭开。女主的演技有点跳戏，服装也是感觉不属于这个场景。
意外的有些温情和伤感。不要让人笑，要逗人笑。
这部电影应该是这样产生的，一个或几个人在那里：现在疫情这么严重，拍点什么了？一个不错的点子或剧本，用西服店精致的外表唬住观众，接着密室，花不了几个钱，再忽悠几个不贵的演员……
撸起袖子加油干！不仅讲的是50s的故事，拍的亦像是如此，动人心弦处，移步换景，已经步入裁缝店，马克·里朗斯已然killed me。

CG不舒服。
你们知道在当今想象力无比匮乏的好莱坞，能有这么个精巧的剧本是有多不容易吗？何况还拍的这么有腔调。
有一些设定没有充分利用。卡司有点剧透…挺好，非常放松欢乐。漂亮女生可以远走高飞看世界啦。
这场对人性的纪念是近年来悬疑片第一次表达出一股精致的绅士风度。而这表达尊严的方式，在喊出从头开始时候完成。他们只是用尊严的方式表达着对一位有尊严的人的敬意。
我有预感这部电影将会被国内翻拍，或者改成舞台剧全国巡演……
