影片是历史真实事件改编，虽说是冒险题材，但中心并没有放在荒野求生，冰原探险上面，甚至没有宏大的风景与特效加持。重点则放在了人物内心刻画与背负艰巨使命的执着感。
这大概是最精彩的地方，影院三号厅被整个基佬霸场了，大家都当作盛世出席：和电影里一样，影院里坐着全是像“火烧岛”上的那种肌肉基佬，有穿裙子的、有穿皮裤的，还有个背了翅膀的小天使来了，当然，放映当晚，这个独立影院的男厕所里也很精彩。
