The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 特别"苹果"的一部电影，无论是摄影、画面、场景、道具，甚至是角色，都很有苹果的风格，不过故事本身其实很简单也并无新意。
充满了爱的电影，虽然是悲剧，虽然在反对技术一切论，但生老病死难道不是人作为生物的一部份么？好可爱的🐶！
没有猎奇式的阴谋和反转，就是讲述科技如何以人为本的温暖故事。
借用“克隆人替代”来表达人之将死的各种情绪变化，虽非新意十足，但影片营造的氛围和质感还是非常到位的，加上阿里平稳深邃的演出，本片能够在同话题电影中排位靠前。至于克隆和精神复制的科幻成分，其实仅仅用于打造故事背景，无法深究。特别是伦理方面，绝对不允许从肉身到精神完全一样的两个客观存在并行于市的！
