The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? With a keen eye and fresh take, Aselton’s directorial debut shines with crisp storytelling and fine-tuned performances. 值得收入教科书的艺术品。
影片类型姑且叫它“文艺悬疑”，那么片名上来讲，远与淡对应文艺，而山与影则应对悬疑。其实文艺与悬疑结合，不好把握，很容易不伦不类，但反过来说，处理好了，就是相辅相成。情节的悬疑和镜头的文艺并行不悖，是这片妙处。导演对镜头的把控隐约有当年老谋子的风味，而灵秀甚至局部过之，且拿捏沉稳老练。主要取景地随着镜头，像一幅氤氲的水墨山水画卷缓缓展开，美学效果出众，也映衬了迷雾般的线索。当然，情节有bug，但瑕不掩瑜。属于冷门小成本佳作。
片子还不错，作为网大来说算有点想法的。唯一有个问题还是接受不了，严华怎么能冒用林音的身份呢？巨大bug。

摄影不错，故事构架也还行，人设台词都比较弱，严华明显没学过舞蹈，肢体太僵硬了，完全没有说服力。导演是石黑一雄粉么
网络电影，质感十足。整体的色调、基调都很有九十年代的感觉，演员演技也都在线，很多表现也都很自然。感情很细腻的一部电影。

有那么点《杀人回忆》的样子和腔调，但导演功力还是差了不止一口气。
网大身份的电影，制作还是比较细腻的，整体结构、叙事方式都不错呀，结局符合预期。
感觉拍得还是很认真的，摄影不错，氛围感也不错，剧本的问题实在比较大，导演再加加油。
服道化还行，拍摄布光比较用心，但剧情却善可陈，依靠一个随便画像就惟妙惟肖的人推进剧情格外让人出戏
摄影很好，音乐太聒噪，没完没了的乱来。国产悬疑，3分鼓励一下吧！
