活化石拍电影，虽然是旧瓶装旧酒，但抛弃了过高的期待，总体还是在好看的一边。希望可以看到“惊！百岁老人自导自演”。
慢慢讲故事的东木老爷子，能看出确实是老了，身子有些驼了，有时候还是能看到坚毅的眼神但是难掩暮年神伤。一老头，一小孩儿，一只鸡，一段公路之旅，故事形式很老套，情结也没有多少跌宕起伏扣人心弦，简单看看不错。
牛仔大爷太老了，他刚一出场我都不相信自己的眼睛，全片充满了烈士暮年的感觉，也象征着牛仔精神的没落。

温馨公路片，但有点太平了，老头子这么大年龄了还在骑马（假的）就有点假，后面遇到酒馆老板娘一家人那里很温馨。
90岁了还能执导和主演，这可能是他告别影坛之作了。作为东木爷爷的影迷，为此也要做出有温度的评论。
东木老已，近几部都给人一种无力感，这部更是完全没有特点，过于老套，之前仅剩的硬汉感也消失殆尽了

故事不算完全收住，相比骡子和理查德朱维尔而言衰老似乎显而易见，自我解构与解剖也像是借坡下驴。只是老头魅力仍在，哪怕剩下的几乎是纯粹的老。Until we find each other again，真是最迷人的commitment
片子的气质，是晚年的老人的自我感动，脑中剩下对曾经的遗憾和意气风发的回望。

单论电影，节奏非常平淡和缓，寓意也那么直白，在我看来，是一路的反高潮。但因为是克林特的作品，全程感受到的是和蔼的温柔。不是缅怀，不想说教，而是，就任车这么开，走到哪停哪，遇到谁就聊一聊，到达目的地之前，任旅程平缓还是颠簸，任生活刺激还是散漫。
该是老爷子的最后一部电影了吧，且看且珍惜。
