The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 在凝炼的整体之下，以与人物目光拥有较多对视时刻的方式逐渐建构起独属于我们与主角的空间。对比文本溢出的前作明显话少的情境才能赢得观众更多的共情，不再是灌输的而是由衷的，这样的情感产生也是余味最悠长的。Tell极少坦露过内心，但在事件渐进下他的脸庞早已言说完关于过去的一切，Robert Levon Been的原声则包含了为过去愁闷的所有情绪。

保罗施拉德擅长用对话做人物状态，这两年的电影都有对伤痕的救赎，但表现出来却浅显了许多，心理惊悚可不是他擅长做的啊。搞下来，台词和心理推动都不太好
这就是魔改吗，把原著的情节调换顺序的我还是第一次见，为了圣诞月上映甚至不惜改季节哈哈哈，不过男女主选角挺不错的

无脑放松爱情片 打了booster看帅哥美女还是很不错的
以职场同事兼对手为切入点的恋爱戏比较少见。男女主相貌虽一般但胜在CP感还不错。

轻松搞笑爱情小片，演员漂亮，景色也美，这种片要多拍啊！
剧本值得细品，前期铺垫算牌人过往的部分很老辣，不知不觉就被算牌这个麦高芬带到他的内心世界，挣扎和期望建立起来之后再推倒。Tye Sheridan的角色算是外化算牌人内心矛盾冲突的其中一方。节奏控制很好，创造出惊悚悬疑感。Paul Schrader说把男主角安排成算牌人是因为算牌是等待的游戏。不足的可能只有视听，朴赞郁拍的话可以再拔高一个台阶。
