The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? Very beautiful, if only we all had amazing adventures and amazing people like these when we were growing up. There will be so much for you to learn and feel, things you would have never expected to happen:)) also, I miss California and New Orleans so much.

城市，采访与孩童。摄影很棒，温柔又琐碎的日常。可能有了人类幼崽以后再看会不一样吧
充满孩童的天真与任性，和来自长大了的孩子的痛苦与温柔。在新装修好的laemmle观看过程极其放松，像是身心都浸泡在温泉里。虚构与现实交汇，极度私人又容易共情；流畅的对白和剪辑，处理妥当的光线和阴影。如果有一天我真的也拍电影，大概这就是我想拍的片子的样子吧。（btw之前因为去看了belfast以为这俩题材相近，就错过了这部的首轮院线。看完简直要大喊这不比belfast好看多了嘛！这不值得几个提名吗！）

舅舅和外甥，孩子的想法很简单，无法让人感到快乐的成熟，就是无用的。成年人习惯用一种成熟的说辞，去掩盖自己的无能为力，借此逃避和面对那些我们本该面对和解决的。但那不是真的成熟。直到被孩子一语道破，这才发现成年人的这种徒劳的自我安慰才是一种幼稚。无论是大人，还是孩子，都是不完美的。
有点《爱丽丝城市漫游记》的味道，但是更重情感方面的东西

PS:华金在小丑爆红后，接的竟是这样一部温柔的作品，他真是个有想法的演员，或者因为有了孩子才选择的这个题材？
也仅仅只是突然变急湍的一小段
