Arkham, 1975: Jonathan Davis' father has disappeared. His tracks lead to Germany, to the Swabian-Franconian Forest where he was stationed after the Second World War. brutashell review - 'Filmed in black and white and primarily spoken in German, it is obvious that Die Farbe did not have a huge budget to work with. Effects are minimal and the cast is utterly unknown. I should point out that these are all good things, and work very much in the film's favour. There is no CGI to rely on, no name actors to carry it. Rather, the filmmakers do the unthinkable: they create a genuine atmosphere of unimaginable dread and unspeakable horror, using shadow, suggestion and rare splashes of that Nameless colour in a few select frames. In short, they did a damn good job. Die Farbe is subtle in its mounting horror, nurturing a dark dread deep in your bowels with every shot. All of the best and most stomach-turningly distressing films I’ve ever seen have come out of Germany: M, The Cabinet Of Dr. Caligari, The White Ribbon, and now this one. Leave it to the Germans. We know how to gross you out on the deepest psychological levels.
Lovecraft worshippers and devotees of German Expressionism alike, take heed: seek out and view this film at your earliest possible convenience. It’s a dark, noisome little gem that will squirm into your subconscious and lay its eggs in your sanity. Hey, not everyone gets the honour of being a host organism for the Elder Gods, you know.'
真的不太行：歌挺好听也太多太密集了，把电影质感拉下来不少，像条长MV；彩色和黑白的表达蛮浅表的；有些镜头让我想有什么隐喻吗，结果莫名其妙。不过奶奶说的那句“Go now. Don’t look back.”我情不自禁泪目了。
从头到尾看得津津有味
富有童趣的儿时小传，用浓郁的温情包裹了历史的残酷，但也仅此而已，没啥深度，摄影很赞。
空洞，做作，无趣，还喜欢炫技。与《罗马》有云泥之别。
从成年人的视角来说，真的再也不想看为小孩子创作的动画片了。全片看下来，一直在思考吸云机器如何在短时间内吸完全城的乌云，爆炸时为何会产生风暴，狗的装备如何在短时间内制造出来，搭云梯拯救乘客时云梯为何那么稳定的物理学原理，薄薄一层速干水泥怎么固定住质量相对很大的高架桥，市长这个人物形象存在的合理性……感谢九年义务教育，感谢鞭策本人学习的所有老师同学朋友！是你们让我不再沉迷于此类动画片！！！
乡愁永远是艺术创作的母题。
莱德这个新发型还挺帅，喜欢新角色的那种乐观精神，小朋友还是很喜欢的！

可能这就是拍时代剧能用的"最高级"方式了。虽不让人厌，但看过罗马，看过其他英国文艺片，就明显很东施了。

刚带女儿看了这部汪汪队大电影，故事围绕冒险城展开，还是熟悉的汪汪队配方，韩丁纳市长依旧在捣乱，莱德依旧是汪汪队的领袖，但是在熟悉的配方中加入了一丝别的东西，在这个故事中阿奇成了主角，然后通过一只新狗狗说出了故事的精神内核，英雄也会害怕，但是真正的英雄即使害怕也会奋勇前行。

父母和祖父母都很可爱，感受到了甜。小男孩初恋和社会冲突的部分互相交替，让人感觉的确是回忆式的，只有那些最深刻的事情才会留下。但头尾和彩色部分衔接的部分反而没啥感觉了。
看过风吹麦浪，对北爱尔兰那段历史还蛮感兴趣的，片子黑白质感不错，但是有点做作，也不喜欢时不时来段歌曲。
那是已经纷乱的土地，它唯一的价值是，小男孩在学会识别差异之前先学会了爱。
这片子看起来好像哪都没有什么大毛病，但就莫名有一种特别偷工减料的感觉。
节奏并不太吸引人，但是用了很多有趣的句子、经典的歌曲和感人的镜头去吸引人。
The Irish were born for leaving. Otherwise the rest of the world would have no pubs. All the Irish need to survive is a phone, a Guinness and the sheet music to “Danny Boy”. 这就是，乡愁电影？
能有机会与资源为自己、家人、家乡拍这样一部电影，无论如何是值得羡慕的。影像、节奏、音乐的选择都精心设计过。精致，精致略过。从电影里第一次了解到新教“到底怎么看天主教”，也回忆起以前看过的好些关于北爱尔兰的片子。不知道那个地方现在如何了。电影总体还行，不过它对于导演本人的意义应该大于对于大众的。
