The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 还行，基本惊声尖叫系列就是这个套路，还有些吐槽恐怖片老梗的镜头，找来老演员玩情怀，可惜就是剧情因为要延续风格不能脱离这个套路。
无脑智障导演拍出的、逻辑不通的、一点不恐怖的话痨片。
对比隔壁《德锯》，《惊声尖叫》的重启显然诚意满满
为了电影续集没拍好，就亲自动手杀人？反正我是无法理解这二逼一样的杀人动机。而2位曾经的女主光环加身，肚子被桶跟没事人一样，真的看不下去，
一次纯纯的解构（可以联想到林中小屋），比起重启的万圣节，展现的更多是迷影行为有趣的一面（而非一个正统的恐怖片），而且这种商业运作模式也很成熟惹。幽灵视角和jump预警的滥用被玩坏得彻底，系列最初的内核被保留到重启之作同时像恐怖屋糖水片一样注入了“青春血液”，作为恐怖影迷看得很爽～
想不到有生之年还能看到5。正如戏中戏《stab》，惊声尖叫系列就是捅来捅去的血浆片，动机一向经不起推敲，所以不必纠结bug。经典恐怖片的爽点还是有的，尤其是很多细节和第一部呼应，这一点很像《月光光心慌慌》系列。不过安排杜威领盒饭真的要给编剧寄刀片了！至于那个男反派，长得也太挂相了点儿，一出场我就觉得他不对劲，果然是变态呢。最后，女主请杜威出山那段儿真的太道德绑架了，神烦。但是她爹，初代变态比尔是真的很帅啊，老了依然很帅。
还行，小镇连环杀人案情节找到一定套路就能一直用

意想不到还有这么多欢乐元素，各种致敬美国恐怖片经典作死桥段，一个个都防着作死，结果都死于套路，想不到这系列拍到这一部居然还能拍得挺有意思。
比起某些狗尾续貂的续作优秀许多，至少它没有摆着架子装作好汉仍有当年勇，于是就不断自我解构、自我嘲讽，很适合熬夜时观看
影片里借同名角色还开了纪念party。
