The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? With a keen eye and fresh take, Aselton’s directorial debut shines with crisp storytelling and fine-tuned performances. 杂乱昏暗的世界背景下充斥着各类畸形怪物，在大量定格模型的镜头下显得真实可怖，以一种先遣队探险式的路线走进下层布满惊恐无序压抑的环境中，看出了压榨掠夺和战争的反讽元素，但导演最终的核心没有能把握到。
血 内脏 混乱 溃败 奴隶 核恐惧 战争 变异 欲望 无限。佩服制作团队三十年磨一剑，但是单纯视效奇观的堆砌导致后期观感下降。

属于越看越精彩的类型，冷酷无情的脑洞，各色怪兽的集合，最终回归到宇宙星辰，道不尽的库布里克
一开始找你欣赏不了，很快渐进状态，越看越惊悚，非常上头！很有可能成为经典！
废土，机械，朋克，克苏鲁，邪典外加导演的个人恶趣味
没完全看懂却无比震撼。
很可惜的一点就是故事弱于画面了，不知道是不是因为三十年前的设想在今日已经屡见不鲜……但真的，好佩服啊，好佩服！
Cult中的cult，没看懂，噩梦不过如此
制作真牛啊……构思、造型、流畅度、精致度、布景、打光都是定格动画最高水准，很难想象工作量究竟有多大，堪称奇迹了
不禁张大嘴巴，啧啧称奇。有些画面极易引起不适。部分影评谈此片基于旧约圣经，如此云云。
那些吹的就算了吧，烂尾20年，拿个30年的制作来尬吹，也就是想到了有个项目可以恰烂钱骗投资，碰巧剧本还中规中矩

这猎奇的风格，不适的画面，宗教的讽刺，性本恶，人是罪恶的，神也是。
这是碳基生物能整出来的活？艺术过于超前了吧。
上一次看木偶剧还是《阿凡提》……融合了末世、血腥、哲学的怪诞cult片，匠心独具。
我不愿把这部影片归为普通的电影，它更像是一个真正的艺术。
太狂了 导演本人是地球人？这片子真够噩梦变态的
而当下疫情与战争双重危机下末世感更浓，只能祈求别让寓言变成预言。
