The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? With a keen eye and fresh take, Aselton’s directorial debut shines with crisp storytelling and fine-tuned performances. 拓荒者与游牧民都是无地可依的人群，前者代表着开拓、积极，后者则是流浪、悲观，就像西部片与这部电影的区别，西部片赞扬的是无畏的英雄，《无依之地》悲悯的是无地的普通人，前者反映了伟大国度的崛起，后者则是美利坚日薄西山的见证。
對我而言單純欣賞女主角的演技，以及位於美國大自然絢麗的風光，單憑劇情而言難以對本片產生共情，我認為筆者的想法是割裂的，既想反映這個生活模式，卻放置他們在背景，詩意鏡頭下的劇情空洞無物，情感宣洩不痛不癢

看到讲解房车配备的尿盆容量的时候我不禁开始想要做笔记
不是传统的homeless的故事，更多的是自我选择的放逐

连续看完《悲兮魔兽》和《无依之地》 被强大的悲伤场笼罩至无望 中式苦痛炼狱和美式凄凉荒地 无不质问到底为了什么而活着？ 人的过度欲望正在吞噬周遭悉数美好
看开头十分钟大概就能知道全程剧情走势的片子
气氛镜头和音乐的堆砌没有很有效地展示人物的内心世界。前半段描绘美国nomad people的生活处境，后半段表现女主尝试却无法与世界重新产生连接的孤独。结尾把流浪归因为一段曾经沧海难为水的关系是否可信？（这样的关系必然存在，但是否在影片里得到足够扎实的刻画？）
也是一段无法与过去和解，停留在回忆里的破碎的心的故事，Fern是那么孤独而坚强，试图通过踏上公路努力继续前进，却始终只是在原地打转
