The story appears simple on the surface, but is revealed, especially after multiple viewings, as more multi-layered and textured than Cassavetes at his best. Ostensibly it concerns a 14-year old Catholic girl, Wynne (Agutter) growing up in this post-modern wasteland, who develops a crush on her much older adoptive brother (Marshall)- a crush which perversely deepens and grows into infatuation once she starts to believe he is the local sex killer. This is in itself an idea that makes you sit up and jolt, but as the narrative develops, it continues not necessarily along a linear path but in several confusing and fascinating directions: the family's history, (detailed effectively in chilling flashback during an improvised seance) is a chequered one, and has suffered at least one major relocation and upheaval in the last ten years. At the crux, however, it's the depiction of socialal changes that make I Start Counting so fascinating and elevate its language far beyond the confines of the standard horror film. The major subtext- that teenage girls were maturing more quickly than before, and developing full sexual and romantic appetites (even if in thought rather than deed) but were not possessed of enough discretion to make the right choices- was a step forward for a genre in which its young females had previously been portrayed as bimbo victims (Cover Girl Killer and The Night Caller spring to mind), but not one that all viewers would necessarily agree with. But most striking of all, and possibly the most enduring image which the viewer will take away with them, is of the masterful symbolism with which director Greene invests every shot. Every inch of the Kinch family's world- their house, their walls, their TV, Agutters underwear, bedroom furniture and toys, Sutcliffe's clothes, Marshalls van, the local Catholic church, their town centre, their record shop) - is painted a bright, scintillating white- a white which, by inference, is slowly becoming smudged and corrupted with the dirt of the outside world. White also symbolises, of course, purity and innocence (two qualities Catholic schoolgirls are supposed to hold dear), and it is into this world of innocence that the ever-present red bus (a symbol of violation and penetration), conducted by the lecherous yet similarly juvenile Simon Ward, makes regular journeys. The allegory is further expanded in one scene where Agutter believes she sees the Christ figure in church weeping blood: by the time we acknowledge it, its gone, but the seed has already been planted. Rarely in a genre production has the use of colour and background been so important or effective in creating a uniformity of mood. I Start Counting is as near-perfect an end to a decade as one could hope for, and exactly the kind of film people should be making now- which is, of course, exactly why they never will. 没有剧透的情况下看完，可见剧情还算紧凑，表演也中规中矩。看完电影次日看影评，才知是翻拍片，韩国《走到尽头》没看，中国《破·局》看过，可打四星。很多电影敢于暴露执法队伍内部腐败现象，现实中应该也是问题成堆才能这样编导演吧。
女主好看 剧情太粗糙了 还以为有啥了不起的反转😓
明明很好的一个概念，不知为啥就能拍的那么沉闷，短短的95分钟看的我一度想放弃了，但是剧情又不是看不下去，只能说节奏不行
其实可以拍的更精彩一点，QueenB在中间几次都好傻…尤其手无寸铁还要当面对质的戏码真的不想看了

虽然是不对的不提倡，但最后好爽啊，用魔法打败魔法，不管是翻拍还是怎样单纯看这个故事还是很吸引人一环扣一环，斯德哥尔摩了心理会向着男主这位反派人物怎么回事。
周末看的，和电影名字非常呼应了🤣 这个电影告诉我们不要周末去和闺蜜出去玩
吃麦当劳的时候看的，结尾连警察bug都圆不回来了，潦草结束是吧😅
前半部分看见女主对抗房东和男警察的时候总觉得女主太懦弱心眼太少。可看到最后，女主才是最勇敢的。男人总觉得自己魅力无限，简直扯淡。口口声声说着爱的出轨男，利益两个字写的明明白白。只有友情最可靠。

讲述了一个人被指控杀害了自己最好的朋友并在试图弄清真相的过程中了解到一个令人痛苦的秘密。
每个人都像有嫌疑的样子，包括女主自己，最后是丈夫也很合理，克罗地亚房屋还挺漂亮，红顶的房屋建筑群，很有特色。
正宗的法国影片风格！贴近生活，人就是人，有七情六欲，但不乏人性。
我能给到6分最高了，只希望下次看到更好的。

结局有点潦草，想不通有视频竟然还能认错凶手，觉得是为了反转而反转。
