The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 我愿称之为国内最美的战争片，这种美来自于制作团队超高的审美，也来自于影片中在镜头和音效上的各种全新尝试。
带着“诗意”的标签，影片里大量片段是为了诗意而诗意，太生硬和刻意了，虽然摒弃了宏大叙事，可小人物依然显得单薄，找到了合适的切点却没有深入，还是没有脱离大主旋律的窠臼。
灰白黑的色调，到最后血雨将银幕染红，落幕。将战争赋予艺术，美丽又残酷。庙堂，树林，江水，山洞，质感不同却又同样的肃杀。
黑白彰显残酷，水墨氤氲希望，观影体验一级棒！
节奏太快了，好多剧情一笔带过，战争场面也不够看，期待了这么久的电影…
气氛渲染、大杀阵场面调度，甚至连暴力场面都可以反复欣赏，我最喜欢的一场戏居然就是刺杀芹泽鸭，镜头语言绝佳。

没有过重地刻画战争场面，却能让人从张力十足的镜头语言中读懂战争的残酷，很棒的表现手法，赞住了。

电影大量采用浙江话，这点真的很用心，身临其境地体验了浙西南革命精神这一相对冷门的创作灵感
摇晃的芦苇荡在长镜头下似乎被赋予了生命般，像极了挺进师的战士，坚韧、刚直，画面凄美到让人想哭。
睡着了，但不影响我给他打高分。
太无聊的主旋律了，调色煞有介事，一查 果然是美院老师拍的，电影不是做P P T和好看的桌面图啊
叙事风格和《关原之战》有些像，都是极度简洁紧凑，剪辑很出彩，但用在新选组这个题材上难逃一个有点平的大事记流水账；摄影和调度的场面很出色，冈田准一的身手真是没话说
那一场血雨下的淋漓尽致，把我的眼睛都给浇透了，看到最后悲伤顺着眼泪流。
以整部片的基调来说是合格的，回忆录式的拍法就该有这样的详略的选择，偏重于几个重点的场景，末代武士“时易世变，身陷囹圄，积郁而作。兼追怀告慰战死之同志。”
