剧情介绍

The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? With a keen eye and fresh take, Aselton’s directorial debut shines with crisp storytelling and fine-tuned performances.     温馨、欢快、热闹，套上傲慢与偏见太像郭敬明的叙事风格。开头看轻微抵触，Will跟Noah的线很尬，友谊交锋开始扳回来，是Crazy Rich Asians的vibes——亚裔自己的表达，是好的尴尬。后半部转的格外漂亮，直男们不太理解queer为什么要兄弟间姐妹相称，可以联想下学外语，脑子里多了一个讲外语的声音，改变自己的identity。outing是接受一个新的足以完全改变人的一层identity，姐妹相称就是community的心意，而非label。对monogamy was created by straight people to make us less interesting的交锋到位，不要害怕vulnerable。本以为是hulu独播，Disney＋也买了，亚裔表达多打一颗星。
