The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 看着有王家卫的味道，让我想起了《东邪西毒》。没有花里胡哨的杂耍动作，只有刀刀致命的简单粗暴，虽然剧情还是能看到开头就大概猜到结尾，围绕的冲突还是推出江湖，但对于一个网大，以及这帮新生演员和导演来说，着实是不易的。
从来没有见过全黑人的美国西部片，实在是太装腔作势而且男男女女都长得很丑，这就是好莱坞的政治正确？

如果把它當作港片來看，其實應該在配樂和服裝上、給兩顆星，但糟糕之處，就在除此之外，無可誇讚。

London Film Festival. SO FUCKING COOOOOL!
很喜欢《东邪西毒》，但武侠其实在其中更多是背景主题。没想到导演拍了一部《东》那片沙漠里的江湖故事，仿佛《东邪西毒》外传，满足了我的想象。立足于极现实的江湖故事，夹带一点佛道思想，而打斗也是这些年中国武术圈复原的明代刀法，所以这就值得好评，毕竟导演还是做了功课的。反派杀手怎么看都是致敬《绣春刀》的丁修，但也只是勉强模仿。其实剧组的诚意和理念都能明白，不过可能也是刚起步，有些地方还可以更好。三星半的电影，打四星表示支持。
很纯粹的无侠电影，王家卫式风格，值得一看。
动作打斗是亮点，金满堂死的太搞笑，结局说明了还是女人牛逼，生存能力强！（这剧情一点深度没有）
大漠苍凉的氛围渲染的不错，讲故事的功力需要继续打磨。
动作戏算是酣畅淋漓，有些镜头的光影令人印象深刻。超出印象中网大的平均水平。
台词太现代，故事略简单，人物也就那样。尽管有不足，但诚意在，方向对，网大按这个路子走，三年必出爆款精品。
Ps:借鉴了《绣春刀》加钱居士、《水浒传》陆谦陆虞侯出卖林冲。
江湖刀客的味道是有了，打斗不错，大电影的小成本能做出这种调调很不错了，几个演员也是到位的。可惜这年头硬派江湖式微，播放量是真不行。一声叹息
比多数网大确实要好，但是和正宗武侠片差距还是巨大的。
