A brilliant and outragously funny satire of society, 7 December 1999

"Flodder" is one of the funniest movies ever made and few people realise that it is a Dutch movie made by none other than the Holland version of John Carpenter, the famous Dick Maas, author and director of the thriller "Amsterdamned". The Flodder family is the reincarnation of the term a-social. When the whole family bunch, basically all bastards, criminals and sluts must be relocated from their City slum because of toxic waste under their house, the city council house no choice. The only available space is in the "Zoendal" - the "Sun Valley" the best area in Amsterdam where all doctors, snobs and businessmen can afford to live their lives. And where the central point of interest and politics is the tennis club of the community. The Flodder family brings devastation to the tranquil world that ruled before. They are simply unbelievable. The characterisation is incredibly funny, beginning with Ma Flodder who searches other people's trash cans for food or making illegal liquor in her cellar and ending with the eldest daughter who is the biggest slut on earth. Together they make the most horrible family imaginable, a sort of immoral mirror image to the Brady Bunch or the Waltons. When the City counsel of Amsterdam hoped that the Flodders would show their good will to be more civilised in their new area, it turns out that Holland's most famous family would rather bring out the worst in the rich people of "Sun Valley"-wonderland. The rest is a hilarious, brilliant and well made social satire that can be watched as a provocative movie as well as a straightforward comedy. Dick Maas at his best. I salute him! Flooder was the Dutch smash hit in 1986 and brought two sequels and a tv series. All of the sequels were nice but not as great as the original.

Why is First Floor Features, the producer of the movie not bringing the Dick Maas blockbusters out on DVD in the Netherlands, I wonder. The are not even available on video there. These movies have so much potential, still to this day and have a huge silent but true following.

生活是音乐的不朽缪斯，音乐是生活的治愈良药，把生活唱进歌里，证明我们鲜明地活着。
这种人社会里有不少，可惜能冒尖的真是凤毛麟角；有人为他树碑立传，也不枉他人世走一圈了。
这一部依然很唐顿，没有太多的波澜起伏但是却很隽永，看到最后老夫人的去世以及人来人往，还是很唏嘘。P.S.唐家屯电影系列就是每一部看完都想把剧挖出来再看一遍。
自我感动罢了。精准的剪辑和抓人的旋律很容易就渲染出情绪，也很容易暴露出剧作的空洞。优秀传记片不同于粉丝电影之处就在于人物的立体和表达的独立。而本片在这两者上的绝对短板让其注定只能是粉丝电影。本片其实在中途抛出了几个非常有价值的议题以及随之带出的矛盾：艺术家将正在进行中的亲密关系作为创作素材是否有悖于伦理，以及艺术家人格固有傲慢的消极一面。但是这两组矛盾全都在最后伴随着主角早已被观众所知的成功莫名其妙地消失了。所有的精湛技术只是为了讲一个1.0的鸡汤奋斗故事，再动人的旋律也会变得无聊和虚假。就传记片而言，本片导演离拍出《登月第一人》的查泽雷差着十万八千里。
大电影力图给所有人一个happy ending，即使理智知道在欣欣向荣的表象下危机四伏，但还是很难不被触动。大小姐终于接过了老夫人的接力棒，小火车拥有了小说般的男友，就连茜比也有了财产傍身，英伦庄园逐渐迪士尼化了。
诺大可发挥空间最后却靠LGBT故事来燃情。
就为了老太太看个热闹，真是圆满的人生，临走还有人送南法别墅，“我像是会拒绝一套南法别墅的人吗？”哈哈哈哈哈哈
挺有意思的音乐片，剪辑蛮厉害的，原型太可惜，这么早就过世了，稍微晚点，活到中年可能会留下更多佳作。
电影还行吧。但乔纳森的经历更让我触动，他在《吉屋出租》开演之前就去世了，这让他成为一位最纯粹的艺术家和理想主义者。
我看到评论里都在爆哭。所以我知道了，我是铁石心肠。
居然一晃这么多年过去了，精致的古典英伦范，从未被超越，所有的旧人都是依然那样在我心中啊，也从未改变
In my potion of view, this is the best film of 2021. If you're nearly thirty and still in a hard time chasing your dream. This film could give you some inspiration.
浪漫治愈的贵族童话，在疫情肆虐的当下确实需要这么一部电影来抚慰大家的心灵
放在电影里看是好看的音乐剧，放在音乐剧里看是好看的电影，即便能感觉到林聚聚还有加菲已经尽可能做出了最大的努力和尝试，但它仍然有点两头都不靠，这大概就是其尴尬之处吧。（但还是希望加菲今年能争取奥提！
这音乐根本听不下去，歌词肤浅，都是生活场景的白描和零碎拼贴，故事也矫情、无聊，男主跟跳蚤似的一直跳来跳去。三十岁生日怎么样呢？三十岁之前是为了那一天活的吗？无语，太自我中心了，主要还是这快餐歌曲太难听、太套路，毫无营养，难以共鸣。更不懂的是，居然一片好评？

好处一是没有做成一个串讲，而是截取了一周的时间来映照一生，二是ttm原本是带有自传性质的作品，音乐是参与了叙事的，缺点大概还是四平八稳甚至俗不可耐，电影感不够，舞台和电影有剥离感，说到底还是想唱就唱，mv串烧，而且不知是刻意为之还是力所不逮，淡化了社会和时代背景。但作为导演处女作和音乐片，已经值得肯定了，观感流畅，节奏好，对于主角本人的指摘我觉得也恰是优点之一，就是呈现出了创作者的自我、偏执、孤独和痛苦，也是他的才华所在和灵感来源，呈现了舞台的高不可攀又触手可及，艺术家的孤独和爱，we all leave with an unfinished song. 加菲太好了！
