The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 不是所有科幻都得狗血撕逼 也可以这样温情脉脉的选择结局
导演并没有很好的利用起生命延续这个本可以很深沉的话题，而是把重头戏放在了关于面对死亡和告别的老生常谈上，最终实现的效果也还算不错，但总感觉这个大命题放在这里很奇怪，有太多悬而未解的伦理问题和逻辑缺陷，虽有几处也颇让人动容，但只因观生命消逝的人之常情，更深层次的思考，似乎并未怎么触及，多少有点可惜。
男主演得不错，但还是不太喜欢看他的脸。女主有点太完美，就好像夫妻生活中没有任何争吵。克隆体替你生存，帮你照顾家庭，或者克隆体，就是你。你死了，你的一部分还活着，所以你没有死。
我并不认为人类可以被代替，如果我能在对方心里留下重量，死亡可怕吗？
穿越生死是人类梦想，虽然不能穿越生死，但如果有个生死过渡的交接站也不错。

拍得很深沉，看得很犯困。美术设计倒是挺赞。
阿里演技绝了，一人分饰两角，但是我能一下子通过眼神分辨出来谁是cam谁是jack；情绪感染力太强了，能体会那种一个人孤独死去的绝望感，但是家人依然能幸福生活的安慰感。
虽然科幻得很玄幻，但是平实的叙述，精湛的演技，冲淡了基本上不可能的科技成就，很感人。
不理解让克隆人代替自己生活，不管初心是什么，伴侣/家人需要知道真相。所以看不太下去。
