The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 很平淡很緩慢。感覺人物的關係轉變不太流暢。

亲情治愈的故事本身讲的中规中矩，兰普林除了演技力压全场之外，导演选择她来饰演这位远离英伦故土自我放逐的独立女性，也颇有意味
以为樱花时节可以看个应景的小甜片，结果又是绝症，而且20分钟就有早衰的迹象提示。女主确实很樱花妹，瑛太弟弟也开始饰演颓废男了， Mr Children 的ED多给半星。
惧怕死亡、害怕孤单也没什么丢人的。哪怕年轻时是战地记者，见惯了生死，有钱又有品，一辈子未婚，嗜酒如命，又酷又飒，但是在等待死亡的时候，还是会希望有亲人陪伴。首先是得到了孙子的爱，然后也得到了儿子的原谅。我还是挺期待她死前告诉儿子他的父亲是谁，结果没有。男人根本不重要，谁是父亲她根本不记得，不也这么潇洒地活了一辈子么？在有些阴冷的新西兰的清晨，看着那初生的朝阳，喝下最烈的最爱的杜松子酒，然后死去，这一辈子，足够了。

完全不如动画原版！反而有点尬，虽然道理是还可以，但作品深度还有细腻度真的完全不行！超级推荐动画版「意外的幸运签」！！无论是主人公内心的描写还有父母哥哥的看法，同学朋友老师的态度真的超级细腻！！
剧情真的乏味，但是兰普林的举手投足可太迷人了。
