The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 剧情一言难尽，歌舞片街头群舞这类型不太欣赏得来，不过体育馆斗舞那一part确实好看
新版《西区故事》音乐、摄影、服化道、镜头调度均是顶级水平，保持了斯皮尔伯格的一贯水准。在歌舞与爱情的同时，亦糅合种族议题、少年犯罪等社会关切，无奈却在故事情节和主演演技上翻了跟头。
政治正确终于到了华人身上我很欣慰，石破天荒，但是这个也太难让人相信了……毕竟男主的脸也太寒碜……尤其是那个羽绒服和发型，我死了……
主要就是没了黄金时代老音乐剧的精气神 又几乎没啥新时代的好改编 不如直接重映老版…再次感叹Sondheim词写得太好

咋说呢，我知道这是改编罗密欧和朱丽叶，也知道这是斯皮尔伯格，也知道他画面气氛选角都不差。我知道这才是现实，但这价值观还是看的我要窒息了
光看Kaminsky的用光和运镜就值回票价，经典重制从来不讨好，老斯完全知道自己要什么。
其实我不太能理解，斯皮尔伯格的公司剧本选择起码有几十个，怎么就选出这个来拍了。

歌舞片段还是展示了导演科班出身的学院派水平，精致大气。只是皮导这次没皮起来，只做出了一部平庸刻板的歌舞电影，远不如La La Land让人印象深刻。
有几处剧情太硬伤，特别是爱情部分，让人很难代入，女主哥哥被杀后居然马上跟杀哥仇人滚床单，完全没有伤心的意思，太不科学。但是歌舞都很喜欢，场面也很精美复古，两个半小时完全没有觉得无聊，果然只有斯皮尔伯格可以做到～

摄影和运镜都非常出色，但是剧情？？？这样的剧情放如今来看全是槽点。
好了全看完了，后面甚至都没啥歌舞了
男主rif对比老版毫无男性气概，声音又难听，鲨鱼帮老大也不如老版的有气质。实在是年度翻拍灾难。
改编本身还是很有想法的，画面啥的也很好看，但不知道为啥这样看这个故事就不好看了（）有点无聊就是说。而且字幕没有西班牙语的，啊累。男主确实不行，唱演都（）女主也太传统音乐剧女主了，感觉可以马上珂赛特（）
《罗与朱》、《悲惨世界》的怪异结合体。多一星纯粹是给导演。长点心吧，
对男女主角的讨厌让我忘记了这个电影的其他一切。
