The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 像数次出现的《奥德赛》的词句，海上历险与倒叙。被强调的元素都与梦魇相连，房间壁纸的船与海，钨丝灯，书中的人物像，和象棋。下赢这盘棋，从米尔科手中、也从大都会酒店前台拿回手表。对纳粹有用的一个奥地利犹太人，非神志丧失而不能赢，时代死局。耀眼阳光只是幻觉。
不出五年这片子绝壁会被好莱坞翻拍。6.5/10 22/06/15
冷门佳片，可以值4星。剧情架构和男主演技炸裂，影帝水准。
演员演到崩溃边缘的演技太好了。

周一晚上看的。开头就很emm......还好没在吃东西的时候看，我是咧着嘴滋着牙看的，好家伙。也不知道字幕翻译对不对，我都想去看黄秋生的《人肉叉烧包》了。
