The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 观众群体大概是戳爷粉丝/小年轻，只是看到奶奶安慰他的时候有些感叹，有无条件支持自己的人真好。
剧情很俗套、简单，但对于导演的处女作和戳爷的首次主演来说已经很惊艳了。
比较像迷你据，还有点古早味青春片的观感，两位少年非常清爽，难得南亚小男娃辣么清新的咧，以为到甜腻腻到底，这个结局倒是挺意外的，突然从小清新爱情变少年成长了。
一部真正能感觉到痛楚的电影，戳爷应该参与了不少配乐选取和编排
