The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 全程折服于奶奶
以为被全世界抛弃的日子里，自我抑郁自我放弃，但实际上爱一直在身边，关注自己的人一直在身边。
生命，不过是一场寄居的旅程，既然是旅行，为什么不有趣点，为什么不开心些。演员不熟悉，甚至有点青涩，但是，这种小情小调很不错。

智慧毒舌老奶奶再生命最後一段拯救了有自殺傾向的孫子，有點治癒有點致鬱。劇情其實挺簡單老土的，但是整個氛圍虐虐的又帶點溫馨。英國人在新西蘭，帶了點陽光的味道。PS：老奶奶真的好美，once and forever。
本着娱乐的心态看的，看的过程就发现与预想的不同了。导演没能掌控剧情走向，片子本身让人昏头昏脑的，浪费了奶奶的演技
残忍的故事。终于能以真面目面对你，然而你再也认不出自己。还好，不是真人真事。

同樣是生離死別的老梗，同樣的花俏手法，但拍得還是比台灣和韓國的一些社會濫情片好很多，完全勝出一個檔次。
