The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 说实话节奏很慢，如果不是了解了主人公的意图估计也会看的云里雾里还很无聊，但好在拍摄和演员完成的还不错，但仍然避免不了不是那么清晰的能看出作者的意图，所以有些可惜。
3.5/节奏慢需要耐心。赌博只是业余爱好，施暴者一系列创伤后应激障碍才是主要。
看的时候觉得这个片儿和《第一归正会》有点像，原来一个导演。

完全看在男主颜值份上，听说这片被雪藏过，看来是明智的。剧情，惊悚，动作，一样没沾边。
这种题材居然一点镜头语言都没有 还不如看美剧
以全片做铺垫为了引导别人看爽快血腥的复仇结局。。。结果就这。。。
too concentrated，人物所处的环境是很凸现的，人在其中走总是想要去到哪里，然而没能卸下这股力，通道是紊乱的。
在赌桌上完成一场又一场的盘算，白天他是精于心计的算牌人。夜晚在漆黑的房间，他坐于桌前剖出最多的秘密。鱼眼镜头里尽是不愿回忆的梦魇，恐怖的画面昭彰着恶魔的来源。
仍能看到些美国电影的旧日荣光，当然不觉得足以和Taxi Driver相提并论，详细不展开了。期待施拉德还会与斯科塞斯合体搞创作，不是老马挂个制片名头的这种。
看到监狱的部分有惊喜，但和算牌始终有点割裂，如果只讲虐囚会不会好一些？

enmm what's the story for?~... 复仇和赌博两个故事放在一个电影里真的好吗？
完全是因为男主来的……故事简单，明了，没有掩饰，却非常震撼人心。它讲述的是那么遥远的事情，但是男主的表演，让这个故事可信，
两段扭曲的鱼眼镜头加分，可惜的是后来电影跟德州扑克没啥关系了，我就是来看德扑的啊
走性冷淡风的导演不该找伊萨克的，他紧实的屁股和壮硕的大腿让整个画面都非常不性冷淡
就，看到最后二三十分钟前其实都还不错，结尾拍的太空了（？就让整部电影显得有点弱智起来……
可惜的是，畸变的画面将创伤展现得很好，理解和爱的说服力则没那么强。
救赎题材，拍得很克制，一切点到为止，略闷。
