The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. A24太想在主题和视觉上作出与Midsommar齐平的恐怖片了，X其实在很大程度上继承了那种无意识的残忍与快乐至死的心理设计。很多快闪式的intercutting很有意思，对于老年，欲望，压抑的阐释也很有洞见。70-80年代的影像卡带的视觉效果和对新浪潮以及The Shining, Psycho之类经典的致敬也可圈可点。

很不错的恐怖电影，老年人的描写，衰老肉体恐惧，情色价值观表述，甚至是老太太翩翩起舞，或许观众太期待升华，到底这么重笔墨描写一个老太太有何用意？最后反而走回了欧美恐怖片大杀特杀的套路作结尾，导致风评不佳吧
半夜看到，荒诞对比营造出了独特的戏剧感，结构回环对应工整精巧，营造了恰到好处的惊悚感

3+，性是恐怖片的第一生产力。致敬恐怖经典，不过是解而不是结，玩了一把再类型化。

3.5，性和死亡是恐怖片的基本元素，这部片子再次强调了这一点，强调的方式既直接又巧妙。
小作坊porn混搭德州电锯杀人狂，中间对porn、性和爱的探讨还一度脱离了低级趣味，总体是个严肃的情色恐怖片。

老年人的性与爱。恐怖片的角色竟然不会让人觉得讨厌因为角色设定就是讨人厌的人！这个方式实在太妙了就连观影也成为一种享受，虽然整个观感仍旧猎奇重口，看完听到旁边的人说I feel sick. 不过仍在可承受的范围内，有一段可以说是年度床戏了。老奶奶竟然是女主演的，化妆出神入化了。几处致敬惊魂记和闪灵，但有些滥用jump scare的嫌疑，整体是近年没有鬼的惊悚片中的翘楚
铺垫太长了，镜头和配乐倒是挺有意思。其实老人也有性欲这件事是很正常的，只是人们往往难以启齿而已
这是一部比较黄的恐怖片，还是恐怖的A片？相信你看完后就没这个问题了。
