The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 很温馨很沉闷的片子，采集到的声音真好听啊，但是滤波得到的信号就是真实的吗？
黑白的畫面彷彿是現今灰濛蒙的疫情世界，但大人和小朋友還是可以互相慰藉。

很温柔的一部电影，成年人和儿童建立情感和过程是非常动人的。我也有点发现，这个时代的小朋友们的表达能力和认知程度真的很让人惊讶。

生活中情绪的高潮与失落交替出现，不仅会使自己困惑不已，也会潜移默化的影响他人，以沟通交流的方式化解问题，释放彼此之间的焦虑与不安，拥抱美丽世界，华金的表演不露痕迹基本无解，配乐的节奏始终舒缓流淌，与影片的主题相得益彰。
轻柔、细腻的触感中生出一丝余韵，但也就仅此而已了，深沉的黑白影调也掩盖不了内核的空洞乏味。
7分，很温情的电影，你照顾别人的同时也是也是在疗愈自己。
