The story appears simple on the surface, but is revealed, especially after multiple viewings, as more multi-layered and textured than Cassavetes at his best. Ostensibly it concerns a 14-year old Catholic girl, Wynne (Agutter) growing up in this post-modern wasteland, who develops a crush on her much older adoptive brother (Marshall)- a crush which perversely deepens and grows into infatuation once she starts to believe he is the local sex killer. This is in itself an idea that makes you sit up and jolt, but as the narrative develops, it continues not necessarily along a linear path but in several confusing and fascinating directions: the family's history, (detailed effectively in chilling flashback during an improvised seance) is a chequered one, and has suffered at least one major relocation and upheaval in the last ten years. At the crux, however, it's the depiction of socialal changes that make I Start Counting so fascinating and elevate its language far beyond the confines of the standard horror film. The major subtext- that teenage girls were maturing more quickly than before, and developing full sexual and romantic appetites (even if in thought rather than deed) but were not possessed of enough discretion to make the right choices- was a step forward for a genre in which its young females had previously been portrayed as bimbo victims (Cover Girl Killer and The Night Caller spring to mind), but not one that all viewers would necessarily agree with. But most striking of all, and possibly the most enduring image which the viewer will take away with them, is of the masterful symbolism with which director Greene invests every shot. Every inch of the Kinch family's world- their house, their walls, their TV, Agutters underwear, bedroom furniture and toys, Sutcliffe's clothes, Marshalls van, the local Catholic church, their town centre, their record shop) - is painted a bright, scintillating white- a white which, by inference, is slowly becoming smudged and corrupted with the dirt of the outside world. White also symbolises, of course, purity and innocence (two qualities Catholic schoolgirls are supposed to hold dear), and it is into this world of innocence that the ever-present red bus (a symbol of violation and penetration), conducted by the lecherous yet similarly juvenile Simon Ward, makes regular journeys. The allegory is further expanded in one scene where Agutter believes she sees the Christ figure in church weeping blood: by the time we acknowledge it, its gone, but the seed has already been planted. Rarely in a genre production has the use of colour and background been so important or effective in creating a uniformity of mood. I Start Counting is as near-perfect an end to a decade as one could hope for, and exactly the kind of film people should be making now- which is, of course, exactly why they never will. 比《迫在眉梢》晚了20几年，但能出就是进步，什么时候背景不是放在泰国会是另外一大步。
不靠谱。各种细节漏洞如筛，纯靠理想化状态来建模，把几台心脏移植术说得和做菜一样儿戏。巧合也多，煽情也多，看得尴尬。不仅情节差经不起思忖，角色设定也是随意凑合，演妈妈的傻婆娘整天无能狂怒，演女记者的傻婆娘拍广告一样又拽又扮酷，都是令人生厌。全家在上下九影院看，浪费三张票。
不难看，但是明明是新电影，却让我感觉看了无数次！剧情太老套了，关键牵强得很
韩国电影永远是敢拍，敢想，演员能很入戏，但是就是现实就是永远不改！！
既然是一个劫持为主架构的故事，要么就故事张弛有度，要么就节奏扣人心弦，结果二者独不占，故事乏善可陈，节奏拖沓涣散，角色动机和行动线莫名其妙，强行以小人物为立场站在“市中心”呼唤爱，真是毁了这个IP该有的作为。
整部电影都太正确了，正确得太软弱了。
“我们老老实实做人，为什么赢的怎么总是你们？”食利阶层若是不赢，普通百姓可能就活不下去了！
挺好的，根据真实事件改编，我们应该也有不过不敢拍啊
不是说原版就好，翻拍的就差。同样的内核不一样的故事，但这部明显比节奏拖沓结局阳光的《迫在眉睫》要好很多（虽然这好也只能是在虚构的国外的什么地方。）。
看完这狗屁不通、处处槽点的电影，可以说陈思诚是华语电影四害之首了。
陈思诚团队很显然想把《误杀》系列IP化，本片翻拍的原作其实根本就没有误杀元素，而本片为了硬蹭热度进行了一定改编，前半部分劫持戏的叙事节奏要好于原版，一些视听处理技法上很纯熟，最后对误杀的点题也说的过去，但是情节真的是越往后越垮，包括最后的反转设计经不起推敲，原版的深度也根本达不到，不敢深入体制内部只有甩锅所谓高层，煽情也是过于密集，有时真的适得其反，个人认为不及第一部的翻拍效果，比较一般。（6/10）

题材，演员都很好，煽情不如《流感》，韩国经典的套路式剧情，后面反转没想到
可以吸尘、拖地、洗衣服、唠嗑、撸猫，却不耽误观看的一部”肖央粉丝见面会”。
烂！ 陈思诚 ，求你了别拍3了 ！比误杀1差的不是一星半点！ 浪费了肖央的演技！

中国的官僚机构已经让揭露官僚机构贪污腐败的电影只能去国外拍了。
认为观众都没‘脑子’系列，哪怕是隔壁剧本杀电影，也有一点看头，至于这部电影？看什么看怎么把观众按在地上摩擦？
