The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 俗套的故事，但西部片就有这股子狠劲，抓人！
画面的气质比想象中没有那么西部片，至少地点放在西部。

窝囊老农是个狠角色，剧情略显拖沓，几个罪犯还是不够狠啊。
惹上一个不该惹的人，双脚已经踏入地狱门，紧张的眼神，颤抖的双唇，何必再去苦苦强求，苦苦追问？
生命中分分秒秒都是生与死的较量。
有点装。坏人都得死，曾经的坏人也得死，看来老美也讲政治正确。

西部片的味道挺足，但很多细节方面不够严谨，比如老亨利躲在草窝子里跟劫匪们第一次近距离接触，我不知道他是怎么一下子就骑马跑了，在三个人围剿的情况下，他根本就抬不起头，爬走的能有这么快吗？还有最后在他家门口跟群匪的战斗，我就不信那么多人朝他开枪，没一个能打中他，还有他儿子开门出来对射，居然也能全身而退。不管西部片的氛围营造的再地道，细节不严谨那就跟那些抗日神剧差不多了。近期看的《接住子弹》比这更差
故事很简单，结尾还来了一次反转，挺有意思的。老年比利小子重出江湖，老当益壮啊。
