The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? With a keen eye and fresh take, Aselton’s directorial debut shines with crisp storytelling and fine-tuned performances. 因为一种“我想做点什么”的朴素心情伸出的援手，在美国空域关闭的背景下发生。紧急状态下维持多元的自由国际主义童话，节奏很快，笑点很多，我看的时候却久久不能摆脱那种讽刺感，911啊911，在三十多分钟的时候，中止罢工的校车司机，带着非洲人到救世军营地，非洲人不肯下车，语言不通，校车司机看到对方捧着圣经，圣经的章节编号总是一样的，“看，腓利比书4：6”，Be anxious for nothing。“我们就是这样开始说起了同样的语言”。啊。还是随之泪目了。以及美国第一位女机长，在讲述自己成长的漫长故事之后，说我最爱的被用作炸弹，啊。我知道这只是stop the world 的小岛呼告，但我想世界本该如此。
好看，音乐和故事层层递进。从纽芬兰的角度讲述了911事件的过程。整部秀当中不乏突兀政治正确之处，但还是从整个应急事件中看到对人的尊重。
疫情关闭重开的官摄 上架appleTV的时间也很令人感慨 不要忘了被现今媒体上铺天盖地的宏大叙事淹没的个体们吧
节奏很好，角色塑造得也很好，设定很巧，能这么有趣确实意料之外，没打五星是因为旋律没戳中我，个人喜好。。。
上次看CFA还是疫情前，彼时世界仍是一体，地球仍似甘德镇。在充满猜疑与撕裂的当下，人类守望相助、携手共进的故事更显珍贵
原来还有这样一段历史。演员都好出色，音乐都很好听。哎还是希望love & peace吧
所以是这个音乐剧即将被改编成电影吗？音乐剧我不太会欣赏啦，期待下电影
原来这是电影啊...音乐剧百老汇版的官摄，看着很欢乐，也没有刻意渲染悲情，有些感动
