The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 好久没看这么纯粹的歌舞片了。哭了。。加菲太有才华了，LMM也完全不像一个新手电影导演
除了不喜欢大部分的音乐之外没有缺点。Sunday的cameo太棒了，说这部电影是音乐剧爱好者的复联Endgame不为过。今年的三十岁焦虑真多啊。
影片高开低走旋律亦然，故事处理着实乏味。
加菲绝对是联合国认定的阳光大男孩，感染力很强，能看出他用了一百二十分的情感在演绎。 “牢笼还是翅膀，去问飞鸟吧。是恐惧还是爱 ，别说出答案，行动远胜于言语。”这部电影是献给35岁的乔纳森最好的礼物。
每一个演员都唱功了得。独白部分都很赞。最喜欢的三首歌是Boho、Sunday和come to your senses。估计没人能对它们说不吧。

一个烂俗的故事线配上了不伦不类的迪士尼音乐和尬舞：（
其实他自己选择的答案，已经显露在头一句歌词里了。“牢笼还是翅膀，你喜欢哪个？去问飞鸟吧。”
观众可以想象他之前的八年时光，一定度过了无数的无眠夜晚。可这部剧从未完整的登上过舞台，几年没日没夜的努力瞬间归零。
音乐剧粉滤镜加成，看到了很多Rent的影子，LMM这情怀牌很会打啊。
《Come To Your Senses》好聽！
作为路人粉觉得无功无过，作为音乐电影应该在镜头、艺术设计上多加功夫，电影明显更像一部舞台剧，倒是加菲的表演提升了一个档次。
看了开头，歌不错，但不知道，就是不想看下去。#20220628
传奇音乐剧大师乔纳森·拉森的传记电影，加菲的演技值得一个影帝提名。把自己的真实生活搬上舞台，成就了乔纳森心中的艺术。倒数第二首歌实乃点睛之笔：你是被爱还是恐惧牵引？这是乔纳森的扪心自问，也是抛给每一个观众的命题。
不会有人在意才华窒息与梦想坠地的声音，
算是传记片，展示Jon的努力与挣扎，对于年龄和目前困境的焦虑，对未来的迷茫，对朋友、爱人离世离去的不舍，虽然塞进去“美国梦”跟同性恋的内容，但是不影响片子本身的质量，自我探索跟坚持是永恒的主题，不单单是“美国梦”才有的
表演夸张，容易出戏，无时无刻不在提醒你这是部音乐剧，然而我甚至已经不能被这样的「城市逐梦记」打动了……even though it was adapted from a true story...
