The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? With a keen eye and fresh take, Aselton’s directorial debut shines with crisp storytelling and fine-tuned performances. THE Freebie is an insightful and humorous look at love, sustaining relationships , and the awkwardness of monogamy when the haze of lust has faded.

抛开鬼怪的配乐与华美的镜头，这就是一个懦弱之人最终成为骑士，取得自己荣誉的故事。
合家欢类儿童片，狗狗很可爱，但是有些镜头失真。

★★★★☆ 8/10 我想拍的那种电影。在一段诡谲的旅行探索神秘的内心宇宙。（服装大大加分，开个玩笑：三宅一生赞助？）
看哭了。前半段是告别，后半段才是属于莱奥诺拉的故事。送别了一路，不仅仅是因为他是受尊敬诺贝尔奖得主，也不是他是侏儒似的住在孩童的棺材里让人发笑，送别记忆是由战争，历史与记忆共同组成的。影像化的极简和转场的合二为一已经出神入化，送别路上的风尘苦楚，撒骨灰的色调转变，再到最后一幕的三像一体，年轻的，成熟的，老去的，有声，而回音的收尾。《钉子》除了是完成"未完成"的作品，也是一出纪念，如同《平行母亲》的任务是将女性之痛与历史挂钩，而《莱奥诺拉的告别》则是用未完成的和已完成的两部分，代表弟弟送别哥哥，用未完成的献祭已完成的。解决一场影像的割裂与对战争和平的反思，一场导演的技法与影像个人秀，只需要一句"to my brother"。
开头慢了点，后面太怪诞趣味了，太有才了这个导演！有点被涂污的鸟那种感觉！堂吉诃德版本的黄粱一梦！
绿🌲骑士在他颈上轻轻一划，一个高尚的骑士灵魂由此诞生。
导演运用了很多视觉上的小心思去诠释这样一个叙事诗的题材，和鬼魅浮生一样，整体调性过于装腔作势，使得虚伪骑士毁灭过程流于表面。
中世纪成长公路片，妈咪用心良苦。影像是十足的A24风格。
男人之间的勇敢者游戏。虽然保持了 Lowery 鬼魅游离慢悠悠的风格，但这个高文爵士塑造的真是一言难尽，后半段 Joel 出现时才开始进入正常状态。
私人影像诗，无感，但导演都90多了，厉害。
没看进去
洛维作为新生代文艺片导演，显示了他对于影像的把控能力。本片也值得写入今年影史的作品。
有点不如预期，故事新编感觉像是A24在恐怖片之外的支线任务，但蘑菇致幻、异教徒仪式依旧不断提醒观众A24出品。灯光和音效以及人声BGM非常出色，旋转镜头和故事轮盘转出时间的倒错。最曼妙的莫过于两次于危难中看尽不同抉择后的人生，勇气在胆小、懦弱、玩垮、背弃中被锤炼，在一生的悔过中铸造骑士精神。
The first part in B/W could be seen as a journey to bid his brother a moving adieu by transporting the ashes of Pirandello, whose works have been adapted by the brothers, to his Sicilian homeland. Whereas the second part in color is quite confusing for us who have never read the story before. The shift from grey to color is poetic though
摄影值得一舔，虽然我真的好讨厌这么暗的画面。没想到把高贵品德骑士精神的主题替换成人类为自己贪欲赎罪了，赋予了环保精神。结尾挺好的，直线逼近耶稣基督。(我是指《基督最后的诱惑》这部电影）
