The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 与其说是回到60年代，不如说是让所有人重返童年。房前草坪上无忧无虑地嬉戏，父母职业在伙伴间的攀比，坐在电影院里刷过漫长的夏季，黑白的电视机突然仿佛涂上彩色的画笔，一盘盘精致的食物勾起了满满的食欲。那些可爱的画面里都是曾经的自己。
目标受众：1970年在得克萨斯州长大的白人。 画风有点像印刷版画，相对独特。童年回忆部分有些冗长，像是导演童年记忆简单的堆积。个人共鸣不多，画风也不是特别能接受，暂不推荐。
政治权利激烈争夺的最深受害者唯有全体平民。

俄罗斯电影的通病，开头很吸睛，结尾很拉垮。前面西乌暴徒洗劫奸杀东乌村民那段很震撼。
