The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? With a keen eye and fresh take, Aselton’s directorial debut shines with crisp storytelling and fine-tuned performances. THE Freebie is an insightful and humorous look at love, sustaining relationships , and the awkwardness of monogamy when the haze of lust has faded.
看到久违的完美剧目的兴奋和故事本身带来的感动都无以言表。在这个故事里，灾难、恐惧、紧张、偏见与神性、真诚、忘我、励志交织在密集(而好听)的台词与迅速转换的场景、人物里，代入感无比强。天花板级别的卡司用精湛技艺同时塑造至少两个人物(In and Out两方，这应该是特别设计的)，这是我这个非剧迷之前没有见识过的，叹为观止。
这真的是我看过现场调度最牛逼的剧了。
为世界四分五裂所叹息时，感谢善意将一切再汇聚成一起，为人性的光辉时刻摇旗呐喊。
真正需要我们重视的东西，在come from away里面就展现出来了，灾难后，也许世界没有变得更好，歧视和战争还在，但我们更应该向这些islanders学习，不去想权谋和观点的碰撞，只有you’ve done the same. 经历过疫情发生的小城，当地人以自己的方式，不忍心医护人员吃泡面，从自家备好鸡鸭给他们送去。are we going to do the same?

19年买了票，20年全部演出取消，21年终于看到，大家都是来自远方，也欢迎远方。
7，感谢Apple，感慨舞台和音乐的魔力，故事简单风趣又真诚平实，歌曲稍逊色大概只有三首比较出色，同样是让几十年前的记忆保持鲜活，国内影视行业应该好好学习一下，911的影视舞台歌曲作品层出不穷，发掘新视角塑造真情实感很重要
优秀！怎么做到的又感人又温暖又好笑又启发的。纽芬兰，真是一个好好的地方。
人性的光辉时刻。特别在今年奥斯卡这么烂的情况下，期待一下托尼。不过911和双伊、伊拉克战争其实是有因果的。
又是一部优秀的音乐剧，节奏轻快，感情真挚。

4.7 从头哭到尾 甚至不用什么情节触动 仅仅在这种人类共同体的氛围下无法抵挡去同感一场不可愈合的灾难的痛和人们相互取暖的温柔。/感染力好好 旋律还行 中东线和动物线好喜欢/这是我见过最不养闲人的剧组了

it's all about recovery and salvation. 能够关照到911之后第二天的日子和远离纽约的加拿大小镇 这个视角太绝了 人文关怀就是如此。当初在伦敦没能看到现场版太可惜了 演员们的转场和角色切换就几乎在一秒之间 情绪拿捏得恰到好处 this is the stage energy
没有特别抓耳的歌，印象最深的一段是不同宗教信仰的人一起祈祷。演员真的都很厉害，一人分饰多角，完全不会混淆。看完还是很感动的。
感谢官摄，官摄和现场“炸耳朵”的音乐效果真的是不同的体验。疫情后再看这个二十多年前的故事，我们还能有open hearts吗
超赞！谁能想到，我先是偶然听到了机长的独白歌被深深吸引了然后发现了这么好看好听的剧！
塑造了一群热情友善的小镇居民。被文化输出了。
