The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 赵婷身兼数职的确保证了个人表达的一致性，但也因此而失去了更好的可能，至少在剪辑方面是有一些可以改善的地方的。
没看出有什么特别的深意，只是一个寻常人的寻常故事吧

可以迅速让人平静下来的影片，或许也是平静时候才适合观看的影片。关于人的选择，人的矛盾，人的执着。原来在路上的人最恋家，最坚强的人最寂寞。几次想要落泪又忍了回去，觉得这样才配和她一样拥有孤独。（唯一的缺点也是最致命的一点就是太工整太学院了）
甘草棒可以帮助戒烟。
最后就是她说能不能尝试想起婚约上的誓言，说起来好笑，厘米拍照要成册，然后设计师发来，很多happy every day ，happy family这样的英文，我们连夜花了5个小时翻阅泰戈尔，王尔德，莎士比亚，电影经典台词来替换。

D- / 好久没看到过这么无趣的公路片了，摸不透素材选取的思路，采用线性叙事又放弃叙事逻辑而改用场景拼贴，剪辑叙事和摄像各行其道，而影像又空洞而缺乏表现力，因此填充的配乐甚是露怯，和马力克比也差太远。

观影过程中几度产生一种莫名的熟悉感，直到配乐第一次奏起才恍然大悟，这种孤寂与平静的诗意与Ludovico的作曲如出一辙。从有些本末倒置的角度来说，Nomadland是对鲁叔作曲的一次满分影像化表达。
心里有爱人，心里有家人，自己住在自己心房里，身处何地都可安定。
