The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 3.5，墨西哥被表现为一个西部版的LA，当Rafael的母亲在玛雅复兴别墅中对伊斯特伍德说“Go out”时，也是比佛利山上的好莱坞对伊斯特伍德的拒绝，而对于他而言，这些被表现成了一个Abusing mother，以及重启了西部片中的美/墨结构。《哭泣的男人》在西部片的大远景和90年代的Thriller桥段背后是对《完美的世界》的精神翻拍，但似乎比90年代多了某种落魄与孤寂，来自他对于政治理想的失望。但就影片本身而言，一切都似乎过于扁平，就连某些功能性角色也没有发挥好自己的作用。在他《老爷车》时期的影片结尾，他往往选择安排一场死亡，但在这里，90+的伊斯特伍德不得不像他扮演的这位曾经的牛仔，面对自己不再是救世主的事实。

开篇几场戏并不好，没什么铺垫就直奔主题，其实也无需前景赘言，东木形象一出来大家就知道他是来解决问题的，这次故事里呈现的力不从心，处处妥协可能是东木到这个年纪自己的心态，好勇斗狠没有意义，寻得那一片温存才是归宿。很舒服，但很软的电影

明明该很有趣，但是每个情节的推进都很无聊
九十岁高龄的男主角 多少有点不可思议 更不可思议的是持枪墨西哥黑帮干不过公鸡
哥特风格突出，人物做的不错，还有大瀑布、大峡谷等漂亮的风景、就是情节简单了点儿
主角就算不是亚当斯一家也行的通的普通动画电影
