骑士守护圣女，幽林通向湖底，游戏指引勇气，痛苦与荣耀而已。亚瑟王的那些松散小故事，无非就是决斗和美女相伴，讲来实在乏味，拍成电影，自然需要一些导演的加工和演绎：盖里奇选择了他熟悉的黑帮动作片；商业大片也许会将龙骨复活，与巨人一战；而大卫洛维则携带着A24的标签讲了一首叙事诗。古典的音乐，顶级的摄影，恐怖片的运镜，凯尔特的神秘被展现的淋漓尽致。原著中的高文凭借着衣带的庇佑捱过了三板斧，电影中的高文则选择用勇气面对不可抗之宿命，真正让骑士变成骑士的，永远不是魔法，而是坦然接受自己的命运。

仁者见仁，智者见智。高文最后是在得知“未来的情况下”看到了:逃避回去后的最后结局是凄惨而懦弱的死去，才选择的赴死，总之“你不是一个骑士”，虽然“这是一场游戏”。但镜头的质感和色彩的运用都超级喜欢。
但总的来说，这是我目前最满意的一部亚瑟王和圆桌骑士相关的了！

观感近似于《银湖之底》，拆开来都巧妙得不行的设计，放一起就是显得无聊。
光影和配乐都不错，男孩成长了，可又没成长。
最后20分钟救了一点回来，和叙事长诗不同的一种耐人寻味

高文从头到尾都呈现出一种“我是谁我要干嘛我要去哪”的浑噩状态，整个故事也变成了到指定地点触发任务剧情的流水账模式，一个魔幻底色的骑士故事竟然在任何玄妙时刻都看起来极其儿戏……
特别的成长故事，时间是所有人的敌人，也是所有人的朋友。
