剧情介绍

The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it?     在HBO开发关于躁郁症的限定剧（尽管Jean-Marc Vallée的离开为这个项目增添了未知数），很早之前和A24合作的那部《侦探双雄》，能感受到（大概）跨入新的年龄阶段的Channing也想要试着探索更多可能和进行其它类型的尝试，而绝非仅是履行一种（基于身体、过往选角）既定重复的演出任务。选择这样一个故事上手足够安全稳妥- -毕竟狗、公路片、PTSD，这些元素在讨喜和打动人之上好像很难有什么差错。即使故事缺乏惊喜，也有一种极为平庸的发展，但会很感激一旦坐定就可从中享受到的陪伴- -是温暖的，也是可爱的。
