The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 不过整个叙事过程中确实重点和角度出了问题，Noah的旁白贯穿始终，又反复在自己和Howie之间横跳，情感力度始终有点打不到人，略微可惜了。

谁说同性电影必须标新立异？本片和世上诞生的无数异性恋爱情片一样大俗特俗，同志也是人，天下大同，众生皆俗！谁说gay子不能在度假的同时收获一段刻骨铭心爱情？虽然过程会很曲折抓马，但本片不止步于此。 片子以亚裔的视角为切入点，在某个程度上审视了美国同志圈的精神生活、价值观、风尚，以及展现了美国长期存在的社会问题（种族歧视），因为披着彩虹的外衣，还是比较新鲜的（也许因为导演是亚裔）。除此之外，每个人物都个性鲜明，甚至在你生活当中能找到对应点。有时候尝试接受自己的软弱和平凡，低下高昂的头颅，并不代表自己是一个很差劲的人，而自以为是的人才会遭受唾弃（尽管nobody cares）。中间有玩梗，gay子们听了都心领神会，有戳中我的笑点，很适合和姐妹们一起阖家观赏！

彩虹版傲慢与偏见，多少带点真，又够欢乐爆米花。打开前以为会像Eating Out那样粗制滥造，打开后发现制作还是花了钱的
7.0/10。开篇就在援引Jane Austin，所以是现代彩虹版Pride and Prejudice没错啦，drama满满，表演有时候略微做作，但也确实会有共鸣。有些美好大概只能出现在文学和电影电视剧里，而不会在这个圈子里吧。Howie可爱。
