The story appears simple on the surface, but is revealed, especially after multiple viewings, as more multi-layered and textured than Cassavetes at his best. Ostensibly it concerns a 14-year old Catholic girl, Wynne (Agutter) growing up in this post-modern wasteland, who develops a crush on her much older adoptive brother (Marshall)- a crush which perversely deepens and grows into infatuation once she starts to believe he is the local sex killer. This is in itself an idea that makes you sit up and jolt, but as the narrative develops, it continues not necessarily along a linear path but in several confusing and fascinating directions: the family's history, (detailed effectively in chilling flashback during an improvised seance) is a chequered one, and has suffered at least one major relocation and upheaval in the last ten years. At the crux, however, it's the depiction of socialal changes that make I Start Counting so fascinating and elevate its language far beyond the confines of the standard horror film. The major subtext- that teenage girls were maturing more quickly than before, and developing full sexual and romantic appetites (even if in thought rather than deed) but were not possessed of enough discretion to make the right choices- was a step forward for a genre in which its young females had previously been portrayed as bimbo victims (Cover Girl Killer and The Night Caller spring to mind), but not one that all viewers would necessarily agree with. But most striking of all, and possibly the most enduring image which the viewer will take away with them, is of the masterful symbolism with which director Greene invests every shot. Every inch of the Kinch family's world- their house, their walls, their TV, Agutters underwear, bedroom furniture and toys, Sutcliffe's clothes, Marshalls van, the local Catholic church, their town centre, their record shop) - is painted a bright, scintillating white- a white which, by inference, is slowly becoming smudged and corrupted with the dirt of the outside world. White also symbolises, of course, purity and innocence (two qualities Catholic schoolgirls are supposed to hold dear), and it is into this world of innocence that the ever-present red bus (a symbol of violation and penetration), conducted by the lecherous yet similarly juvenile Simon Ward, makes regular journeys. The allegory is further expanded in one scene where Agutter believes she sees the Christ figure in church weeping blood: by the time we acknowledge it, its gone, but the seed has already been planted. Rarely in a genre production has the use of colour and background been so important or effective in creating a uniformity of mood. I Start Counting is as near-perfect an end to a decade as one could hope for, and exactly the kind of film people should be making now- which is, of course, exactly why they never will.     沒想到因種種原因停了兩個月沒看電影，看的第一部竟是這個。也算催人淚下吧（估計今晚做夢會比較豐富）框架還是那個框架，元素的古老依然是古老，能開出很多解讀議題的方向，但似乎沒有什麼必要，畢竟自我毀滅抑或被殘酷摧毀之後的生只是一個滯後的永恆循環。

    又是一部流水作。。只是带多了些粉丝惊喜而已。全程除了久代蜘蛛侠和老反派外其他剧情都想直接快进，这代蜘蛛侠根本没有打磨好，天真犯傻，三部独立电影都没有成长起来。不得不惊讶威廉达福宝刀未老，全程最爱，也难为马奎尔带着刀子口回去了。

    為了米高基頓看1而且厭煩2的我終於撕下後母臉批准了小奶狗, 荷蘭弟偶爾還飄出英國腔也沒關係了啦, 難看的部分就不吐槽了總之又是那個後薩諾斯困局, 但漫威真的太強大了, 除了招攬一票厲害的人回鍋, 還高度提升了蜘蛛人這個角色命運的意義(非粉絲也能體會), 甚至作為虛擬英雄人物也能調侃這個真實世界的種種無奈並且以此互文, 讓人想尖叫啊啊啊蜘蛛人!

    真牛逼！好久都没有看到这样的邪趣有冲击力的动画了，很偶然搜到的，结果一点进去就不能自拔了，令人难忘的一场地狱之旅，一幕接一幕的视觉冲击，脑子似乎都还来不及想，尺度对于我真是老生常谈了，其实没有什么特恶心的，但那种冰冷感挥之不去，还有那种对于杀戮、弱肉强食的视觉剥削感，对于生命的漠视和戏虐又令我有些愤怒，尤其是玻璃瓶中全片里颜色最艳丽的那场母子吃虫段落，片头那段长文子没仔细看，也不想过多的对于视觉上呈现去做解读，对我而言剧情故事可能并不怎么重要，跟那个全副武装手拿皮箱怀揣破碎地图的敢死队士兵一样，有一步算一步走到哪儿算到哪儿，只是这一路的沿途风光着实令人震惊，回北京后一定收藏本片再仔细的深挖研究研究！

    还是比奇异博士要好玩一点，不过也只有一点点。威廉达福和章鱼博士的表演有加分。奇异博士真是个危险分子，因他而起的事故感觉有很多，而蜘蛛侠只是一个心大的小屁孩，经常做一些蠢事。

    想象力丰富，制作精妙，但只是奇观的杂乱堆砌，像预告片那样剪剪就得了，作为长片根本没有在视觉逻辑和叙事逻辑上达成协调、统一的效果。真人出镜的段落更是尴尬。于是越看到最后，创作者越不在乎自己要表达什么，观众也越不想知道这部片子想表达什么。所谓制作了三十年，无非只是一场过分自我沉溺但又不知所云的怪异噩梦罢了。

    就很工业化，视效方面有些亮点，演员马马虎虎，小虫还是年轻人的成长戏码，多元宇宙的这些设定，都是剧本上的偷懒，老反派都拉出来，没啥特别趣味，因为不吃蜘蛛侠情怀，所以三虫同框也不是很惊喜。
