The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 很温馨很沉闷的片子，采集到的声音真好听啊，但是滤波得到的信号就是真实的吗？
还挺喜欢处理冲突记忆的镜头，把声音抹去，覆盖上当下的平静的叙述声音，再把镜头慢慢拉近拉远，像极了我自己跟回忆和解的方式。

整部电影有种奇怪的暧昧感，如果换成小男孩，是不是有点《洛丽塔》的感觉呢？
啊……这片子有点无聊……em，要不是因为最后的采访独白，真的感觉毫无可取之处……小男孩初看贼帅，声音也好听，但是听多了真的有点腻了……长腿大🐻尖脸真的只能玩玩，结婚真是不合适。这样，就会后悔。哈哈哈
典型的essay film，但是嵌套了一个melodrama就让视角显得非常模糊。Jesse也并不完全能与影片中其他被采访的小孩等同起来，所以最后让人感觉一头雾水。
充满孩童的天真与任性，和来自长大了的孩子的痛苦与温柔。在新装修好的laemmle观看过程极其放松，像是身心都浸泡在温泉里。虚构与现实交汇，极度私人又容易共情；流畅的对白和剪辑，处理妥当的光线和阴影。如果有一天我真的也拍电影，大概这就是我想拍的片子的样子吧。（btw之前因为去看了belfast以为这俩题材相近，就错过了这部的首轮院线。看完简直要大喊这不比belfast好看多了嘛！这不值得几个提名吗！）
