The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 电影没有明确的反战意义，那些一起出生入死的事迹是否值得？阿富汗、叙利亚什么的，算正义、算爱国？男主一门心思要回到战场，除了打仗，他啥也不会。男主身体的伤病，大脑的损伤，回到战场这个执念，都是病。狱卒对游骑兵的嘲笑、露露自杀的主人、沦落成盗贼的流浪汉老兵、露露的哥哥和其主人的疗愈，似乎有那么一点反战的意思。只是显得被迫和无奈。
不可避免地需要跟原版对比了。画面和背景音都缺少了原版那种沉静、阴冷的质感。老吉的演技还是很好的，特别是在结尾处的爆发。最后情节上有一些小改动，其实完全没必要。还有就是结局实在太拖沓了，没有原版简洁有力。
剧情可有可无，全靠一条可爱的狗狗撑起一出戏。
还行吧，细节处理的不好，所以没有什么代入感。
太尬了！和原版比差了太阳到地球的距离，吉伦哈尔着急的时候只会摸头，原版的男演员和他比简直是影帝级别。。。
