The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 动画加电影的表现形式太惊人了，最后一段令人赞叹。

给人一种精神上的压抑与摧残。
机器人造反题材确实已经不新鲜，但用热内的风格拍出来，人类拥有间离般的神经质，让人类和机器人之间越发存在着庄周梦蝶版的混乱与错位。
太有意思了，剧情结构有点类似八美图，影像风格化很强烈，对于失控的科技、人性的弱点、疫情封控手段的幽默讽刺。
画面清新自然，节奏拖沓冗长。两个小时的电影内容还没有开头结尾的几分钟动画扣人心弦…十分引人入睡…
其实并不觉得这片有多好，感觉视角转换不是很合理，但意外地喜欢。可能是因为放到3·11语境里，加上片尾动画那种“人死了就像水消失在水中”一样的画面，正好戳中个人泪点。生生死死往复循环，生者需要揭开伤痕、诉说记忆才能让死者以另一种形式陪同着继续走下去。

探讨的议题比较老旧，不过还有一些梗挺搞笑的

动画加电影的表现形式太惊人了，最后一段令人赞叹。
文本是真不错啊，细节满满，张力十足。但作为电影观感是真闹心啊，真长啊，长啊，长！
期望越大失望就越大……拍成爱死机类似的短片也许还行，但这个故事撑不起快两个小时的时长，热内独特的审美趣味也很难拯救略显空洞的剧本。整体感觉像是给科幻迷画的低龄绘本，所有想表达的东西和视觉元素以及设定都一股脑的，以一种直接甚至做作的手法往观众眼前塞，完全配不上之前的期待。
