The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 最后结局的升华很加分，超越物种的大爱和包容，温暖你我。
结尾很感动，巨魔身上都长出了叶子开出了花。每个人都渴望母爱，甚至花费一生的时间在“找妈妈”。
我觉得沉睡在小城下的巨魔之母是大自然的隐喻，世间所有巨魔/生物都是她一人的孩子。大自然母亲醒来后发现身上的土地已住满了人类，她不忍心叨扰破坏，于是选择放任人类并就此长眠。
时长对于这个故事偏长。缺少剧集里对于神秘生物的新鲜感，毕竟第二季最后已经展示了这类生物的生活了。唯一一种贯穿全片的生物。对于被殖民，是夺回被占领的地方，还是搁下仇恨和平生活？非我族类其心必异的思想注定不会让不同生物之间敞开心扉。
哭哭，喜欢动画片，好难过，巨魔每年只能进去一次呜呜
进击的…山怪，山丘之王和他哥的做法都没错，一个主张进攻，一个默守老母的牺牲，人类要是早点考虑城市搬迁，何必和山怪斗这么多年。
一般，没看过剧，开始看有点一头雾水，不清楚人物间的关系。当普通的故事片看感觉有点普通。
这种乌托邦式的世界 恐怕现实永远也无法实现
