The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 能理解导演想表达的意思，许多镜头设计也很好，看了许多评论，确实导演反类型，反高潮的风格，不是我的菜。

除了那句“usa！usa!”还有极其敷衍的床戏之外，没有任何可看的地方，太无聊了！不3倍速放完根本坚持不下去！
7.5 导演拯救剧本。并非如通常般着重展现赌牌、监狱、报仇这样充满“男子气概”重头戏，转而聚焦情感的流动表达。
三星半，救赎情节类型电影，主角能玩牌的设定可以换成任何其他技能，身边的小兄弟几乎就是他内心的样子，在寻求复仇的同时完成自我救赎，失去了现在的一切却又拥有了全新的自己和感情，漂亮的完成了正面反讽主义的影片，伊萨克越来越像克鲁尼了

算牌人初进年轻人旅馆镜头首次出戏，整体冷感基调尚不成熟，不出色不坏。
太难看了…配乐一响起来就困到不行…
如果想看赌片的，就失望了，这是一个创伤后遗症的故事，只是刚好男主懂得算牌而已。导演名气很大，但也很久没有佳作了，其镜头，配乐，气氛还是那部taxi driver，几十年过去了，江郎不但才尽，还退步了，剩下的只有老观众印象中模糊的感觉。
