The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? With a keen eye and fresh take, Aselton’s directorial debut shines with crisp storytelling and fine-tuned performances. 如果说当时的主旋律还是克制工整的编排，起码遵循基本创作思路和人物逻辑，那么时下的作品就妄图凭借强刺激的技术掩人耳目，完成一场爱锅Melodrama
要论，这部片应该还有个标签，那就是“教育片”。
当黑白画面变得高清而又彩色时，我才知道，李侠离开监狱的那天，兰芬穿得是多么的好看。
意义高于电影本身。
这种电影真的应该经常放给孩子们看，敬佩，热血
中国式叙事的特征，精彩的戏剧冲突和日常生活过场的结合。我似乎明白为什么很多老编剧写得那么流水账了。

时代局限性太强。若不是修复上院线，几乎看不下去。“首部黑白转彩色4k修复故事片”这个意义超越了电影本身。
向以李侠（原型李白）为代表的那个时代“永不消逝的电波”们致敬！
很有名的片子。“1938年，我地下党组织在上海的电台被敌人破坏后，延安解放区电台政委李侠（孙道临）来到上海，白天他是一名商人，晚上则躲在阁楼间收发电报，为了进一步做好保密工作，党组织同时安排纱厂女工何兰芳（袁霞）与他假扮成夫妻。两人在工作中产生真情，结为真夫妻。”
电影的故事原型为在上海从事地下工作的中国共产党党员李白。
