The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 太装腔作势了。又是总往演员脸上怼着拍的大特写镜头——“催吐镜头”。垃圾导演浪费优质演员。
精美，reference High Noon的街道和配乐还挺妙的。
Jojo Rabbit➕罗马，但只学到了前者的匠气和粉饰太平，拍不来后者的格调和感染力
黑白质感很棒，很多帧拿出来都是优秀人像照，但除此以外没看出一家人到底在struggle什么。
刻意的机位
疑惑的镜头和疑惑的色彩运用。并不能好好回忆的回忆录
内容撑不起这么高规格的制作。画面很有质感，但从头到尾完全没被打动，只觉得好漫长（结果才一个半小时多…）
有一种很强的色彩，去留住记忆中的故乡的感觉。里面有家人，有大的时代环境，有悲欢离合……
写散文能不能也真情实感一点啊
音乐铺得有一点满，虽然用了黑白但是整体镜头给得非常工业化，buddy和爷爷聊“离开”这件事时挺动人的。
“Irish are born to leave, otherwise there won’t be any pubs in the rest of the world.” 肯尼的《罗马》，一封给故乡的私人情书，又是名为Katherine的女孩，一闪而过的阿加莎克里斯蒂和雷神，了解他的粉丝都会给出宽慰的笑容。是他这些年来导的最好的一部电影了吧，演员也都演得好，小男主真是和他小时候长得一样可爱。Bittersweet symphony, 流泪了。
奥斯卡里看到的最值得的一部作品了。

这部电影，个人觉得还是很文艺很文艺的。
电影一般。不过字幕组能把“England”翻译成“英格兰”而不是“英国”么？人在北爱尔兰，还说自己背井离乡去“英国”，emmm……
字幕组很了解我，在这部我觉得除了配乐一无是处的电影里，给我标明了所有配乐的歌词和歌名，这就是我给这个不值得三星的电影五星的理由。
如果站在爱尔兰人的角度去看，不难理解为什么会那么痛恨英国人
故事比较琐碎，我还是喜欢更戏剧化一些的故事，但理解拍摄者的这种处理方式，从一个小孩子平淡的日常生活的角度来看国家民族的冲突，人物、氛围都很有感觉。
少了份暗流涌动，也没有直接来自当时社会问题在生活上的影响
对于小孩儿不愿意离开熟悉的环境已经产生不了同理心只会因为权衡了利弊觉得他无理取闹烦躁的自己感到悲哀
