The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 一般般，梦回60年代，两重身份穿越，看得有点尴尬。最后的老太反转有点意料之外。
“是那些男的活该，我不要进监狱，我一生都在监狱之中”
but，导演挺会玩，起码有意思叭，谈不上惊艳但有点惊喜。
不会真有人觉得嫖客死了就会变得很可怕吧？不会真有人觉得妓女反杀就是大反转吧？导演对性别运动的嘲讽振聋发聩啊，何必结尾再一番讨好呢？到底有没有ball啊兄弟？
消失的爱人策划思路升级版。中规中矩的美式商业恐怖片。
所以究竟是想讲个啥？女性视角只是刻板充满莫名雌竞想象的虚假外壳，而如果还有任何女权色彩存在到结尾也已被这个完全崩坏的反转付之一炬
“前半段给观众制造了一个复古惊奇的伦敦夜，中间惊悚，最后温情！”导演是不是以为观众会这么说。自以为是的导演把观众当好操纵的白痴，给了一个混乱不知所云的观影体验。再白痴也不会有女主白痴。

可惜编剧显然不知道怎么使用这些点子，最后的“反转”更是极为突兀和逻辑上说不通。
再怎麼說也是鬼才導演埃德加·賴特，看完心裡的確是有點失望。

虽然不是导演一贯的风格，但还是是一场视听盛宴，就是故事简单了些。
最后让黑人女（亦或男？）穿上安雅的衣服，简直印证了时代的后退。

我知道这个不是推理片，但60年代那么多命案都查不到她头上？逻辑上太说不过去了吧。女主全程毫无胜算也看得人很难受。
苍白悬浮的仇男叙事，老套刻板的惊悚桥段，剩下的只有视听了但是歌又不耐听，难以置信这竟然是天才又鬼马的埃德加·赖特鼓捣出来的东西！太失望了！
其实前半部分还行，就是后面导演完全控制不住剧情节奏和走向了，遁入深渊
怎么说呢，影片在前面60年代追忆与梦境转换的闪光之后就开始慢慢步入下坡道路，女主和黑人男友都不甚讨喜，还不如看安雅跳两个小时恰恰舞。
