The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 拍得很有感觉，越看越有睡意。同样是伪纪录片，《灵媒》比它好太多了，在真实性和代入感上狂甩五条街。
结构上，太零碎了；几条线的交叉，剪辑点也都挺别扭的，这大大影响了观众的“入戏”过程。
和灵媒的问题如出一辙，试图通过伪纪录片的形式营造更沉浸的氛围，可全摄像机视角却成了影片叙事最大的桎梏，机位的失真和露骨的设计感完全让人无法进戏，最后果然连煽情配乐都出来了，一开始还煞有介事地暗示信不信的问题就更显得有点好笑，所以还是那句话，今后想拍这类片的导演先好好学学怎么拍伪纪录片吧
说实话我倒真希望能给这些评论晦气的人下咒，巨婴国里看什么电影，看恐怖片还想求祝福，24字箴言咒背好就行了。
感应灯闪瞬移姑娘，心灵动画回放定格，大红灯笼活人烧烤，鬼打墙纸盆吊颈车顶，仙姑脱发反脸暴走，千手隧道无限深脸……东西怪谈+伪纪录一并乱抄，把无耳芳一都能抄成印度佛母邪神。虽然原创元素太少，但片里片外煽情营销挺会玩，各种本土化做得还算有诚意。跟朋友讨论后对片子有了不同认识，剧本做得真挺好

这种题材和这种拍摄方式的恐怖片很特别，第一次感觉眼前一亮的恐怖片，看完以后还是久久觉得有点后怕……胆子大试试呗
太牛逼了，可以说是我心中近些年亚洲恐怖片第一
三星半吧。以为是intouchables, 最后一幕又想起‘the end of the fxxcking world’.. 中间几乎是独角戏。 虽然Jodie很棒，剧本还是平庸了些，导演和摄像选择的过多的close-ups有点意义不明。
这片子告诉我们打不过就加入吧。
